Welcome! Are you interested in having a doula support you, but don’t know where to start? I am excited to explore how I can assist you in having a gratifying experience. In this meeting, we’ll discuss your vision for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, as well as any questions or concerns you may have. During this meeting, you will get to know more about me and I am thrilled to learn more about you!

Are you ready to meet to review your birth plan, practice some breathing and relaxation techniques? Partners are you ready to practice the double hip squeeze and support the birther? Then you have come to the right place!
Paiten will review/discuss the final touches of your birth plan, receive any updates, educate you (and your partner) about various labor positions, stretches, double hip squeezes, and more.
Practice/Demonstrate: We will practice and demonstrate various labor positions, breathing and relaxation techniques, and more.
Additional resources, documents, and videos will be provided.

Birth Consulting/Planning
$50/90 minutes via ZOOM
Welcome to Blissful Beginnings! I would love to connect and start the conversation around what you envision for your birth. Let’s talk about how we can set you up in the most successful way. If you are unsure, no problem! I would love to help you develop a plan. Who is your provider and are you comfortable with the care you are receiving? Do they support the goals you have for your delivery? Where are you planning to deliver? Do you need recommendations or resources? Does the facility have all the resources for your delivery? Are you interested in doula support and are curious about what their support looks like? What childbirth education classes are you taking? Are you interested in breastfeeding, bottle, or both? Have you taken a tour of birthing facilities?
If it turns out a doula is right for you and you’d like me to support you, I’ll apply your consult fee to my Birth Doula Services Package!
Breastfeeding Education
$100/90 minutes via ZOOM
As a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist through Lactation Education Resources (LER), I am happy to offer 1:1 breastfeeding education to anyone seeking education + support. I am here to empower you to meet your breastfeeding goals and prepare you for your big day. Breastfeeding is a natural yet learned skill that benefits both mother and baby. Understanding the basics of breastfeeding, including proper latch techniques and recognizing hunger cues, is essential for a successful journey. In this course, I will cover the advantages of breastfeeding, positions, pumping + bottle feeding, common challenges and solutions, and more. Remember, every breastfeeding journey is unique. Let’s do this together! Preparation is key!

Childbirth Education

Childbirth education classes are essential for expectant parents, providing valuable information and resources to navigate the birthing process with confidence. I strongly recommend first-time parents and VBAC candidates to take a thorough/in-depth childbirth education course. These classes cover a wide range of topics, including the stages of labor, comfort measures, and the importance of remaining mobile. Participants learn about their options for delivery and the importance of communication with their healthcare team, empowering them to make informed decisions. These classes foster a supportive community where parents can connect, share experiences and build a network of support that can last long after the baby arrives. We are here to support you, join us!
